Its good to be back! all classes are back in full effect i had a great time spending some relaxing time with my now wife Julie in our honeymoon.

Its time to hit things up hard and am so ready to work, so many things coming up our grand opening and a small graduation, and so much more!

As i began to move things around and getting everything ready for our move to our new location. I took some time to look around at our little gym.

Every space and corner, hole or marking brought back memories of all the things we have gone trough in the past year and a half.

I remember our first classes here and how every one's feet suffered from the rough concrete floor, i remember Pergunta sitting in front of the only box fan we had to try and beat the heat, or when i decided to start tracking the cubs growth spurs on the wall outside of the restroom.

Too many memories to put down here that make me love this little place, I cant wait to get started on our new gym and begin to fill it with character and plenty of memories to make it feel like home, just like this little gym became a home away from home to all of us who trained, sweat ed and had fun here.

Every step i have taken in this journey has been tried and true, through all the difficulties and hardships the work continues and it evolves.

It is time for even more changes and i know we will rise to the challenge, the Equipe all ways charges on. I'm filled with excitement and energy and am ready to get to work.

So much has happened since my last entry here, our first year anniversary and graduation.

the countinuos growth of our new gym.

and now we are back at YogaOne with monthly workshops on Introduction to Capoeira.

2010 has been good to us so far and i cant wait to see what else it brings.

Born in Mexico city Roberto Huerta(Graduado Jaguar) became involved in the martial arts at an early age, with over 20 years experience 14 of those in capoeira 10 of serious dedicated training and work with His former Group.
Responsible for the first organized group of Capoeira Regional in Houston, Jaguar is now developing his own work in the Houston/Spring area. With the focus on the preservation of capoeira's rich heritage, using his knowledge not only to uphold tradition but also help enrich and balance the lives of all who train under him. Jaguar brings passion and intensity into his energetic style of teaching. With a firm belief that a strong foundation is what makes a good capoeirista.
Graduado Jaguar has taught Capoeira Programs, Intensive classes and Workshops in over a dozen HISD Schools and in such places as TX A&M, The University Of Colorado In Boulder, St Thomas University, and in Honolulu Hawaii.
